I am a terrible procrastinator. Like, absolutely horrible. I'll sit down to do some reading for classes or start writing a paper and I'll either end up on the computer or I'll fall asleep. It's so bad.
My favourite thing to procrastinate with, other than Facebook, is Dress-Up games. You know, where you have a doll and you switch their outfits/create some of your own. It's been like that since I was in Elementary. I used to make dolls on eLouai, ESPECIALLY the Candybar ones. There were just SO many options for clothing and hair and eyes... Oh man. Hours spent making dolls that looked like me or my friends. HOURS!
Then came deviantArt. I joined this thanks to a friend of mine, but when I joined it, it was to post art and photography, like people usually do on the site. Then I discovered that not only do people post art and photos and fanfiction and the like, but there were also DRESS-UP GAMES! Words cannot express how excited I was. Since discovering this, I have faved so many games that I frequent when I'm bored. Or right now. I'm playing this game right now. Noodle Dress Up Gorillaz are awesome.
Something that came from my love of dress-up is my "membership" on Gaia Online. I mean, you can do, once again, so many things with your avatar! You can look however you want, portray any stereotype you want, whatever! Plus, they have puzzles, my other go to procrastination tool.
*Pssst! If you have a Gaia account, feel free to add me as a friend. JennaStellar*
Also a FANTASTIC procrastination tool is StumbleUpon. When you sign up, you pick a number of topics that interest you, including cooking, drinking, photography, cartoons, tattooing, you name it, it's there. Then, once your choices have been picked, you click the Stumble button and a whole new world opens up to you. This site generates OTHER sites based off of your personal preferences. Like I said, fantastic. Many an hour are waste-I mean, enjoyed, on this site.
So that's me. Sometimes I break the procrastination routine and draw or clean or actually do my work. But that's a little too crazy, even for me.
You know, just in case the person in front of you decides they want to lean their chair back and spill your drink.
